(Me, Courtney, and Geralynn)
Hello everyone!!! 1. My classes are PERFECTLY NORMAL CLASSES PEOPLE!!!! I'm taking The Oceans, The Atmosphere, Alternative Photography, Digital Public Art, Wake-up Workout, and Surfing. All completely legit classes, thank you very much Chris and Seth! So far, I am enjoying all of them very much.
The Oceans and The Atmosphere are just 2 lecture science courses. Interesting, none the less, but slightly boring.
The Alternative Photography class seems so exciting! We learned about the dark room yesterday and learned about photograms and how to develop them. I'm so excited to start experimenting with them... I will post some when I make them in the next couple of weeks.
The Digital Public Art class seems interesting. It is a service learning class, but we haven't figured out who we are working with in the community yet, but hopefully we will soon. I've been working out a lot in the last 2 weeks... it has been a great time getting to go to Zumba, Yoga, and Toning classes along with my workout class and biking to the beach when it's nice =) It's tiring and my body is feeling it, but it has been great!
This last weekend, Courtney (my actual roommate) and I went out for dinner at Bubba Gumps on Friday, then on Saturday we hung out with another of our roommates, Geralynn and her boyfriend. We went to a local bar called The Mucky Duck and had a great time!!!
All around, I've been having a great time relaxing and enjoying the start of class and enjoying the company I have been so lucky to find. I do not miss Wisconsin at this point in time, but I do miss the people there... I am starting to feel like home, here though which is nice and welcomed. The weather has improved since last week and has been sunny and gradually reaching the upper 60's. Tomorrow I have my first surfing class =) I picked up my wetsuit tonight, so that will be quite the experience!
Well, it's time for bed for me... I'm exhausted!!! I hope all is well with you and know that I miss you and am constantly thinking of you...

I've done photograms. Hope you get to make a pinhole camera. They produce interesting results.
By the way, did you know that, and I quote: "California teeters on the edge of the worst drought in the state's history..." So perhaps we should ship you some water? ;-)
Glad you're having a great time.
Cheers
Let's see. The Oceans, The Atmosphere, and Surfing. That's going to the beach (Oceans) looking up at the sky (Atmosphere) and then going surfing. Just like when I was in college; "hey guys, who want to take a road trip to go shooting?" I really miss college! ;-)
Surfing!!!
Jim says don't drown, and look out for sharks!
Love reading yout blog!
California does not really exist. So there. Come home now!!!
OK, I guess it's really there. Just don't fall off the edge of the Uniter States.
OK, the past two comments of mine were actually done by Chris as he was helping me with a computer problem.
OK so this one really is from me:) Wanted you to know WE HAVE SUN in Wisconsin also. (Of course the temp is only 20 degrees.) Love the blog, now that I can get into it. Now about the Housekeepers job you have available----
I'm so glad it sounds like you are fitting in perfectly there and having such a good time. I miss you bunches!!
